Instacart launched Ready Meals, a fresh, health-focused and cost-effective alternative to restaurant takeout from customers’ favorite grocers. With Ready Meals, consumers nationwide can now take a break from cooking and instead get fresh, ready-made meals delivered from the store to their door in as fast as 30 minutes.

GrubMarket has completed the acquisition of Terra Exports, a Las Vegas-based company that distributes fresh produce to and from over 65 countries around the world, while handling a very diverse commodity produce portfolio.

Ken Korson, sales and apple category manager for North Bay Produce, a Traverse City, MI-based cooperative of growers, is charged with managing the apple sheds daily based on what the customers want and what the growers have to pack. 

This February during National Cancer Prevention Month, Chef Elle Simone Scott of America’s Test Kitchen will be inspiring consumers with Pazazz recipes. She will invite them to visit the American Institute for Cancer Research online tool to take the cancer health check and see how they measure up to current recommendations for cancer prevention.

A trio of supply chain experts painted a bleak picture for the immediate future concerning the logistics issues that have plagued the United States and the world for the past two years. They each agreed that the current port bottlenecks, rising truck rates and labor issues will be evident throughout 2022 and probably well into 2023.
