C&S Wholesale Grocers Inc. has officially brought the iconic Grand Union supermarkets back to its beloved shoppers in New York state and Vermont. GU Markets LLC, an affiliate of C&S Wholesale Grocers will operate these stores.

Riggio Distribution Co., an anchor tenant at the Detroit Produce Terminal, is one of the largest produce wholesalers servicing the Midwest. One of the reasons for its long-term success is by staying up on the top trends in the industry.

That means attending all the important produce shows, which is why Philip Riggio is headed to the Southeast Produce Council’s Southern Exposure expo.

Florida Classic Growers has been involved in the Southeast Produce Council’s Southern Exposure show ever since the very first edition of the big event. Now, as it gets ready to participate in this year’s show in Orlando, the company will be sharing items that are grown right in the Sunshine State.

It’s been an amazing year at Clarifruit, and the company has been looking at the shift in the fresh fruits and vegetable supply chain this year, and the trends that will continue to drive these changes in the upcoming months.

Team members at Nash Produce are looking forward to being back in person with friends and industry professionals at the Southeast Produce Council’s Southern Exposure show.

“We plan to bring sweet potatoes fresh off the line to showcase to visitors,” said Rebecca Scott, grower accounting and marketing director for the Nashville, NC-based company. “Along with trading masked smiles at our booth, we’re also looking forward to strolling the aisles of the tradeshow and meeting with familiar faces throughout the event.”

Pacific Trellis Fruit, a year-round importer, grower, marketer, and owner of the Dulcinea brand, hired Howard Nager as its new director of marketing and business development based in the Los Angeles office.
