Western Growers will honor California agricultural icon John Harris with the 2022 Award of Honor. The Award of Honor is Western Growers’ highest recognition of achievement and is given to individuals who have contributed extensively to the agricultural community.

“We began picking right after the 4th of July holiday, starting with a couple different varieties — we will ramp up more and more over the coming weeks, getting into our peak production in August,” said Lane.

Organic and natural grocery retailer Natural Grocers is looking to fill about 500 positions nationwide. The company increased its wages at all locations for select positions to attract candidates to its stores across the United States.

The company currently employs more than 4,000 crew members at 162 stores across 20 states, and hiring locations include cities such as Dallas, Portland, OR, Denver and the Kansas City area.
