During the March transition season for avocados and mangos, Mission Produce is featuring its Peruvian organics, its upcoming Mexican mango program and its Emeralds in the Rough avocado bags.

Sustainable grower and shipper Goldenberry Farms is preparing for the initial shipments of the brand’s trademarked Sugar Mangos for the 2024 season, in conjunction with a new consumer and retail campaign, Small, Sweet and Easy to Eat!. 

Jaguar mangos made a strong debut last mango season and are back and ready to make their way to retailers across the country with the the rollout of Splendid By Porvenir's Save the Jaguar program. Supplies of Jaguar mangos are expected to be available by mid-March.

The 2024 Crespo organic Mexican mango season is in motion. The season kicked off amid unprecedented complexities, marked by a notable and severe absence of Peruvian fruit, with definitive market chaos projected for several months before any stabilization emerges.

Mission Produce Inc. plans to expand its forward distribution center in Dartford, England, to double ripening capacity and establish mango operations in response to the branch’s growing success.

The National Mango Board announced that Weis Markets has been selected as its Mango Retailer of the Year. This prestigious award was presented Oct. 12 on site at the chain’s flagship location in Selinsgrove, PA, and celebrates Weis Markets' exceptional dedication to providing consumers with the freshest and highest-quality mangos, as well as its outstanding contributions to the mango industry.
