Goldenberry Farms unveiled its new Ramboos branded product line, offering a kid-friendly introduction to the world of tropical fruit.

Ramboos are mythical creatures from “The Legend of Ramboo,” a magical place with delicious hidden fruit treasures. “Ramboos are so delicious they can instantly make you smile,” said the company.

The vibrant, colorful labels and available in-store merchandising displays help to create eye-catching presentations and expand the awareness of this sweet tropical fruit.

The Diamond State Port Corp. is the state-owned authority that operates the Port of Wilmington, which is situated where the Delaware and Christina Rivers meet, about 60 miles from the Atlantic Ocean on the East Coast.

The port annually produces $436 million in business revenue; and $409 million in personal income for the state and the region. It’s responsible for 5,900 jobs and generates $41 million in annual taxes.

Relief and joy were written on people's faces: After two years of enforced break due to COVID-19, over 9,000 guests from Germany, Switzerland and Austria, together with the owners of MULTIVAC, recently celebrated the 60th  birthday of the company under the motto "One World,  One MULTIVAC".

The event should have taken place last year, but the pandemic put a stop to all that. “We are very happy, that the situation has normalised sufficiently to allow the celebrations to take place,” said Christian Traumann, joint group president of MULTIVAC.

Wild River Fruit expanded its certified organic gold kiwifruit program. The third-generation company’s first block of gold kiwi was certified organic in 2018, but its limited volume has quickly sold out in recent seasons. This year, Wild River has completed a successful transition of additional maturing acreage and expects to be offering a season-long program as a complement to its organic green kiwifruit program, from October through the winter.

Fresh berry leader Driscoll’s and industry partners announced winners of the Agricultural Plastics Innovation Challenge. Carbon Upcycling Technologies and Enerra Corp. were selected as this year’s winners for their innovation, business viability, focus on sustainability, scalability of their solution and the strength of their ecosystem. The selection process included more than 200 innovations from four continents with a wide range of solutions- new materials, design improvements and end-of-life innovations.

Walmart has signed a definitive agreement with Canoo, a high-tech advanced mobility company, to purchase 4,500 all-electric delivery vehicles, beginning with the Lifestyle Delivery Vehicle, with the option to purchase up to 10,000 units. The vehicles will be used to deliver orders in a sustainable way that will also contribute to Walmart’s goal to achieve zero-emissions by 2040.
