United Natural Foods Inc. has named Matteo Tarditi its new president and chief operating officer. Additionally, the company has named Louis Martin its new chief commercial officer and Alfredo Luchini its chief financial officer.

These updates, effective Aug. 3, 2026, are designed to align UNFI’s leadership structure more closely with its strategy, helping the company accelerate capability building, sharpen operational execution and continue strengthening its financial performance.

The U.S. Apple Association announced the promotion of Lynsee Gibbons to vice president, communications. The move recognizes Gibbons' leadership in elevating USApple's communications, strengthening the association's advocacy efforts and expanding its visibility among policymakers, media and the broader apple industry.

Pacific Trellis Fruit added two industry professionals to its fruit division sales team: Adam Erceg as sales executive, based in the company's Philadelphia office, and Ty Bamford as sales executive and operations lead, based in the Fresno, CA, office.

The Kroger Co. announced Emilee De Martino will serve as its next executive vice president and chief people officer. De Martino succeeds Tim Massa, who announced he will be retiring Sept. 18. De Martino plans to begin her time at Kroger by engaging with associates in stores, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities and offices across the country.

Greenyard USA/Seald Sweet announced that Andrea Montagna will become CEO of Greenyard USA/Seald Sweet, effective July 1. Montagna joined Mayda Sotomayor as co-CEO in July 2025.

Sotomayor will step back from her executive responsibilities and continue her involvement with the company as a board member of Greenyard USA/Seald Sweet and advisor to the business.
