Fresh Express announced a new consumer social media awareness campaign and revitalized sustainability initiative in recognition of Earth Day 2022.

Richard George Papen of Papen Farms Inc. and a pillar of the farming community, died unexpectedly on April 16.  He was 84.

Mr. Papen was president of the Council of Farm Organizations and a director of the Delaware State Farm Bureau, a member of the Vegetable Growers Association, United Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Association, the Governor’s Council on Agriculture, the FFA and numerous other agricultural related organizations.

In addition, Corona Tools will generously provide a set of quality gardening tools to each of the three winning therapeutic gardens.

EDINA, Minn. -- After a two-year hiatus because of the pandemic, locally-owned Bachman’s – the nation’s largest family-owned retail florist and garden center – revived its popular annual Floral Experience at the Galleria Shopping Center, here, March 27-April 10. The 15-day, self-guided tour event was free and open to the public.

Suntory Flowers delivered beautiful blooms to the red carpet once again with Tu Bloom of Bloom Designs, Inc., the official botanical artist for the GRAMMYs. The 64th Annual GRAMMY® Awards were held April 3rd at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

This was the first time Suntory had bedding plants grown for the event. The original plan was to grow gallons of Senetti, when the show was going to be January 31st in Los Angeles, but the event was cancelled and rescheduled due to concerns with the COVID Omicron variant.
