The New England Produce Council has scheduled two exciting events for the coming months: its annual golf tournament in July and its annual expo in August.

The golf tournament will take place Tuesday, July 19, at the Indian Pond Country Club, 60 Country Club Way, in Kingston, MA, to benefit the council's scholarship fund.

About 140 golfers took part in last year's event, held at the same venue, and a full complement of golfers is expected again this year, so the council is encouraging golfers to register early.

Revol Greens continues to bring on talent with the addition of several key executives, including the hires of Kathy Flores as chief of staff and Amanda Crews as vice president of people. Both bring decades of experience and proven results to the company.

Nichols Farms announced that Jared Lorraine, long-time veteran in the produce and beverage industries, has joined the team as president and chief operating officer. Lorraine comes to Nichols Farms with more than two decades of experience in supply chain management, operations, and continuous improvement from Pepsico and — most recently — Wonderful Citrus.
