Kristen Reid, executive vice president of MIXTEC Group, has been named the first-ever recipient of the Fresh Produce & Floral Council’s Jan DeLyser Trailblazer of the Year Award. The honor was presented at the 2025 FPFC Harvest Forum and Fair, recognizing Reid’s visionary leadership and enduring impact on the produce industry.

Prior to joining Publix, he had a long career in the technology field and then used his captain’s license to run charter tours out of Jacksonville, FL. During that time, he would shop with his guests at Publix before bringing them onto his boat.
