Gotham Greens has raised more than $310 million in new capital, bringing the fast-growing company’s total financing to $440 million since its founding in 2009. The latest fundraising round is the company’s largest to date.  

Tomato and vegetable supplier Lipman Family Farms further expanded its international footprint by closing the deal on a 75-acre greenhouse facility in Jalisco, Mexico.

“The purchase is part of our approach to better secure the supply of tomato and fresh vegetable production and fill in appropriate gaps between seasonal transition periods,” said Darren Micelle, Lipman’s president of value-added services. “We look forward to seeing the impact this purchase will have in supporting both the East and West markets in North America.”

Revol Greens, one of the largest greenhouse lettuce growers in North America, is moving full steam ahead with growth plans to continue meeting consumer demand as it prepares for the Temple, TX, opening of its largest facility to date.

Magic Sun Farms believes that growing in high-tech greenhouses allows the company to produce the best-tasting, highest-quality tomatoes and bell peppers, while keeping a small overall footprint and using the least possible natural resources.
