An autumn of strawberries is ahead for California Giant Berry Farms, as the company forecasts strong volumes of its cornerstone product out of the Santa Maria growing region. The berry purveyor’s high yields come following a challenging year of suboptimal weather—but despite this, the resilient company is on track to continue to deliver the high-quality strawberries it is known for. 

Thanks to a bountiful summer of delicious Bobalu berries, the staff members at this farming company have been enjoying fresh strawberries straight from the ranch and inspiring each other with their creations.

The International Blueberry Organization is set to unveil its 2023 Global State of the Blueberry Industry report. The release event will take place via a webinar hosted by editor Cort Brazelton and Colin Fain, who leads the team that produced the report. This live virtual event is set to take place on Aug. 15, at 2 p.m. GMT.

Nearly 90 percent of all strawberries grown in the United States originate from California, and generations of dedicated farmers continue to produce their crops in healthy, sustainable ways. In fact, more organic strawberries are grown in California than anywhere in the world.

The California Strawberry Commission represents more than 300 strawberry growers, shippers and processors, all working together to advance strawberry farming for the future.
