Lidl U.S. is partnering with Avocados from Peru to give away a Tesla to one lucky winner. The sweepstakes kicked off on July 1 and is open to legal residents of the nine states where Lidl operates stores: Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey and New York, as well as Washington, DC.

The Tesla will be presented to one winner at the end of the campaign, which concludes Aug. 31.

Westfalia Fruit Group started its Colombian Hass avocado season and will have supply available now through late spring of 2023.

The season for Florida-grown Tropical Avocados is off to a strong start, with promotable volumes available June through August. Initial reports from growers indicate increased volumes will ship throughout the 2022 season. Prices also look to remain stable—a focus for WP and their Desbry brand of premium-quality Tropical Avocados.
