Walmart and DroneUp LLC, a leading global provider of drone technology and services, announced their first multi-site commercial drone delivery operations. The three locations, which will be located at Walmart stores in northwest Arkansas, will operate from 8 a.m. ­to 8 p.m., seven days per week, to deliver items to eligible Walmart customers by air in as little as 30 minutes.

Brothers John and Steven Newell grew up in agriculture and from a young age had a vision of feeding the world. That vision started to become a reality in 1996 when Windset Farms began as a four-acre Bell pepper greenhouse in Abbotsford, BC.

North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper announced the launch of the Wilmington Midwest Express, the North Carolina Ports Authority’s daily direct rail connection to the Midwest via the Carolina Connector Intermodal Rail Terminal in Rocky Mount, NC.

This new service will supply a key intermodal capability of expediting shipping containers to the Midwest while concurrently reducing customer transit costs and emissions.
