NOGALES, AZ – As Delta Fresh Sales gets set to close the books on a successful 2022, it will be looking at 2023 with an eye on additional growth.

Delta CEO Atanasio Panousopoulos said he expects to grow by around 25 percent in the coming year. Its core items of tomatoes, cucumbers, Bell peppers and colored Bells will all be looking at a slight increase this year, in the range of 5-6 percent.

Earlier this week the Colombia Avocado Board met, electing new officers to its board of directors. The newly elected officers, together with other members of CAB, will be instrumental in cultivating the business expansion of Colombian avocados in the U.S. market.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture imposed sanctions on All Fresh Distributors LLC in Miami for violating the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act. These sanctions include barring the business and the principal operators of the business from engaging in PACA-licensed business or other activities without approval from USDA.
