Field Fresh Farms expands its lineup
Field Fresh Farms has expanded its lineup to include chopped Romaine, as well as one- and two-pound clamshells of conventional and organic Spinach, Spring Mix, Arugula and Kale.
With its chopped Romaine, the vertically integrated grower-shipper offers the triple-washed, ready-to-serve pre-cut lettuce directly to the foodservice market. Already a favorite ingredient in salads, wraps, bowls and more, chopped Romaine provides a significant cost-savings to busy customers who need a flavorful no-waste ingredient that won’t slow them down with a lot of prep time.
Field Fresh Farms’ latest product joins an established lineup of conventional and organic offerings, including Spinach, Spring Mix, Arugula, and Kale, all of which now come in one- and two-pound sizes. The new clamshells are designed to help foodservice operations limit packaging costs while better meeting the increasing consumer demand for crisp, flavorful greens.
Earlier this year, Field Fresh Farms debuted a new website designed to help its customers succeed by providing simple, straightforward access to the farm’s conventional and organic product line-up, detailed product specs, and the sales team that carefully oversees each order. The Dobler family continues its dedication to consistent, reliable excellence by occasionally expanding its menu of products to better meet customers’ growing needs.
“Our decision to add chopped Romaine and the new clamshell sizes to our robust line of products was based on the feedback we’ve been getting from our foodservice and retail customers,” said Claire Cagnacci, Field Fresh Farms’ marketing coordinator and a member of the Dobler family’s fourth generation. “They needed fresh-cut ingredient solutions that are 100-percent useable, and we provided them with a full menu of conventional and organic options. Romaine, in particular, is crisp, sweet, crunchy and — most important to our customers — it’s extremely versatile.”
Field Fresh Farms’ chopped Romaine is available year-round with seasonal shipments arriving from Watsonville, CA, and Yuma, AZ. Packed in 6 x two-pound, bags with a 16-day shelf life, the product is designed to support high volume retail and foodservice operations.
