The Peruvian Avocado Commission will launch this summer the first ever marketing program dedicated to promoting organic avocados.  This will be the first time that an organic product will be marketed using assessment funds from an organization operating under a federal promotion program to promote one of the fastest growing segments within the produce category.

Ocean Mist Farms CEO and President Joe Pezzini will step down from this role effective June 30. He has been a consistent face and voice of this nearly 100-year-old brand for 21 years, and his legacy will be evident as the company moves forward toward its centennial celebration.

The Kroger Co. will hold its first nationwide hybrid hiring event tomorrow, including virtual and in-store interviews. The goal of the event is to hire 10,000 associates supporting retail, e-commerce, pharmacy, manufacturing, and logistics operations.
