Associated Wholesale Grocers Inc. announced the appointment of John Cosentino to fill an open position on the company’s board of directors. Cosentino is an owner and the vice president of Cosentino Group Inc.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture has imposed sanctions on three produce businesses for failing to meet contractual obligations to the sellers of produce they purchased and failing to pay reparation awards issued under the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act. These sanctions include suspending the businesses’ PACA licenses and barring the principal operators of the businesses from engaging in PACA-licensed business or other activities without approval from USDA.

In 2010, leveraging his adaptability to changing markets, he expanded his territory to include the mid-Atlantic region. Throughout his tenure, Pettine has consistently driven value to his customers across multiple regions, playing a crucial role in Kwik Lok’s expansion and growth.
