The Women’s Fresh Perspectives Breakfast was held Oct. 19 at the International Fresh Produce Association's Global Produce & Floral Show in Atlanta. The women’s breakfast has been one of the most popular sessions at The Global Show — and this year was no exception. Featured speaker Reshma Saujani, leading activist and founder of Girls Who Code and Moms First, dismantled the myth of women “having it all.”

Grocery Outlet Holding Corp. Chairman of the Board Eric Lindberg has been appointed interim president and CEO, effective immediately. Lindberg replaces RJ Sheedy, who has stepped down from his position and resigned from the company’s board of directors. The board has engaged a leading global executive search firm to begin the process of identifying a permanent CEO.

The International Fresh Produce Association is providing thousands of pumpkins, apples, baby carrots and vibrant mums for the annual White House Halloween festivities, hosted by President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden.
