Coggins Farms and Stanley Farms join to form Generation Farms

generationCoggins Farms and Stanley Farms joined forces March 1 and will now operate as Generation Farms. The company spans thousands of acres from northern Florida, throughout Georgia, to just south of the South Carolina border. It is one of the East Coast’s larger growers of organic produce and one of the largest grower-processor-shippers of onions and carrots. The company's capabilities extend to sweet potatoes, green beans, peppers, watermelon, blueberries and kale.

"By operating under one name we will take the next step in building upon the agricultural expertise of our families to meet the rising demand for the high quality, conventional and organic produce for which we are known," Vince Stanley and Mike Coggins said in a memo to employees. "This new era of collaboration and innovation will lead to greater customer satisfaction and opportunities for all members of the Generation Farms team."

The management team is made up of Vince Stanley and Mike Coggins, other members of the Coggins and Stanley families, and an extended team of accomplished agricultural industry professionals.

Stanley and Coggins said employee opportunity, food safety, environmental sustainability and high-quality produce are and shall remain the keystones of their business and the foundation of their leadership.
