FPFC SoCal luncheon features United Fresh town hall meeting

lawMore than 200 produce professionals gathered March 5 at the Sheraton Cerritos Hotel for a unique Town Hall Meeting at the Fresh Produce & Floral Council's first Southern California Membership Luncheon of 2020.  Several key members of the United Fresh Produce Association, led by President and Chief Executive Officer Tom Stenzel, answered questions from the audience on topics ranging from the Coronavirus to labor reform, food safety, international trade, industry trends and many other subjects.

Stenzel was joined on the dais by United’s Miriam Wolk, Jennifer McEntyre, Amy Philpott, Robert Guenther and David Durkin.  Members of United have traveled virtually the length of California in the past week talking about topics that are currently top of mind in the state’s produce industry. Alfonso Cano of Cardenas Markets served as emcee of the luncheon.
