Duda Farm Fresh Foods marks the start of the California-grown citrus season with a large variety of items available now in promotable volumes.

“The Navel oranges crop is off to an early start this season and the fruit is exceptionally sweet,” Paul Huckabay, Duda Western citrus sales manager, said in a press release.

“The New York Apple Association is an absolute and solid fixture at the New York Produce Show,” said NYAA President, Jim Allen. “We are a supporting sponsor, and we have exhibited at the show since its inception.”

The NYAA will be exhibiting at Booth No. 160 at the show being held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center North Hall in Manhattan on Dec. 2-4.

Kaari Stannard, president of the company, said that last year’s show seemed to have more retail — or target — buyers.

“And, of course, the show was inundated with both Hunts Point and Brooklyn sellers and buyers,” she said. “We also feel that this year’s show is better timing because it is not so close to Christmas.”
