Tanimura & Antle promoted Scott Rossi to vice president of northern farming operations.  In this newly developed role, Rossi will oversee farming operations in the Salinas Valley and San Joaquin Valley growing regions for the company, working to improve farm efficiencies, yields and product quality.

Since the creation of the American Floral Endowment in 1961, AFE has steadily grown in their abilities to support the floriculture and horticulture industries. With over 30 annual scholarships, three internship programs and increases in both educational grants and scientific research, the AFE team works diligently every day to provide resources and relevant programs needed for a strong and sustainable industry.
 

The International Fresh Produce Association hosted its first ever Global Produce & Floral Show in Orlando, FL last week.  The show brought together the entire global supply chain for produce and floral, including attendees from approximately 40 countries. The show offered a critical opportunity to make connections and create new partnerships. Here are some key highlights:
