Elizabeth Smart joins Divine Flavor

After a decade of working with Divine Flavor from outside the company, Elizabeth Smart has joined the firm’s sales team, according to Carlos Bon Jr., Divine Flavor’s sales manager.Elizabeth-Smart

Bon said that Smart “is an experienced lady. She was already selling produce. She joined us Jan. 8 and will help us in several ways.” Her primary responsibility will be melon sales, which has been her specialty.

Beyond that, “she is very professional and very organized. She will help improve our processes, supply chain management and will handle several key accounts. We work pretty much understaffed in our sales team. This will help each team member a lot because they will have clearer priorities. We will re-engineer our management of accounts to be better for our customers.”

Bon credited Smart’s “tenacity and work ethic. She brings tremendous value to our company.”

Divine Flavor is headquartered in Nogales and has a large sales component and distribution warehouse in San Diego. Smart has been working from Sacramento with her husband and two daughters. This office status will remain.
